Lesson 03 : How many and How much .
Both of these phrases are used to ask about the quantity of something. However, we use 'how much' with uncountable nouns. These nouns are always singular and they cannot be counted. 'How many', on the other hand, is when the noun we are talking about is countable and has a plural form.

Abbreviations are an important and expanding feature of contemporary English, widely used for convenience and space - saving. Students need to be familiar with general, academic and business abbreviations .
Abbreviations take the form of shortened word . Ex : ‘Ad’ and ‘advert’ come from ‘advertisement’ .
Acronyms are made up of the initial letters of a name or phrase (e.g. SWOT = Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). They are pronounced as words.
