An average of 6 to 8 lab sessions, selected from the list below, should be conducted for this subject, depending on the available resources. These labs can involve simulation and/or practical experimentation.


Lab 1: Analog Signal Scaling: Designing a scaling circuit (conditioner) using operational amplifiers.

Lab 2: ADC0804/09 Analog-to-Digital Converter: Building a CAN circuit based on the ADC0804/09.

 Lab 3: Temperature Acquisition Board: Developing a temperature acquisition board (sensor + conditioner + ADC0804/09).

Lab 4:  PIC 18F2550 Programming: Introduction to development tools (MPLAB X), PICKIT2, Program structure, First application: controlling LED lighting.

Lab 5: PIC 18F2550's ADC: Constructing a CAN circuit based on the PIC 18F2550.

Lab 6: Managing a Data Acquisition Card with LabVIEW
