Reading Comprehension and Written Expression is a course destinated for 1st year Licence degree.
It aims at developing the reading and writing skills, the course is
divided into sub-courses that describe the entire module.
The course contains theoretical sections as well as practical sections which are represented in reading texts, activities and tests.
The overall aims of the module are (2nd Semester):
Written Expression:
To be able to use appropriate vocabulary.
To be able to use correct grammatical items.
To be able to write paragraphs, letters, reports, etc.
To be able to summarise, paraphrase, etc.
Reading Comprehension:
To be able to understand the meaning in the context.
To be able to identify phrase or sentence groups.
To be able to develop students’ critical thinking.
